The moment you realize you are incapable of realizing

There went the last of norm, it was never suitable. Burned down the bridge to home, to warm our bodies from the cold, cold, cold. Upon uncharted sea, see, it's only you and me. The ripples multiply, we keep our heads about, but still we drift sometimes. The water's warm, slow, slow, we dip our feet and oh, no. And we know better, right? But, still, we can pretend tonight. The tether's sunk and it's be easy to follow. You know that we could jump, swim toward what we know. The wind is slow in our sails, but for what we see, we're only in-between. The water's warm, slow, slow, we dip our feet and oh, no. And we know better, right? But, still, we can pretend tonight. Hold on, don't let the moment take too long. We may go under but, so long as we can hold on tight, we still can pretend tonight. We reach the apex and the gate's shut. So aim our only cannon up and light our only match and let fly the turning of the tide. The current's strong now, so cut our anchor down. and coast into the light. Now we come alive. Hold on, don't let the moment take too long. We may go under but, so long as we can hold on tight, we still can pretend tonight.

God and Man 04:05
So much, too filled up. Can't move I walk till I could not keep up with my own. Our castle is full of rats and everyone knows. And God and Man keep sending who knows? To all the corners of our souls. So tired, I fell asleep and let the moonlight decide what gets to stay inside my_ I'd like to wish the world in two. To separate. Feel the myriad complexities. Feel the good and wrong and in-between; it keeps me up at night. Understand the things that you've been told, while God and Man keep sending who knows? To all the corners of our souls. So tired, I fell asleep and let the moonlight decide what gets to stay inside my_ I'd rather wish the world so scared that I am leaning further from care and falling harder into despair. The castle walls are full of mold. It's creeping into our souls. We decorate the outside, so we can forget what's under.

The tune has changed from what we once sang. The central figures gone...

Wasn't aware it was a competition. And every word, everything is in opposition. I want to live and leave a good name; sometimes if feels like that's a bad thing. It's the mouths all around, on the TV, on the phone, in the bar, in the home- but I'm not the same, and I don't mind, swimming a marathon all of the time. And I think we're close to reaching land, sending the sharks back to the deep. The trail is clear, but (someone's) kicking rocks over and onto smooth ground and my feet are bare. My feet are bare. The wind and sand are only temporary. Though they don't seem it, they're imaginary. Though we're tired, we're not behind, running a marathon all of the time. And I think we're close to reaching home, sending the wolves back to the woods. And I think we're close to having it all. It's been a long run. It's been a long time.

Lo, there goes the water... but I can't tell if it's true. And I can't tell if it's you.

Star Charts 03:32
Cold breeze. The night, open sky. The ice cracked all around until I... The moon glows. The ice separates. I try to hold in place, but I can't fix in time. Blue, the light is blue. the stars chart, to somewhere I'm not. Cold night, floating on... The melted ground, is now the only place.

Don't 04:28
Don't make me do another thing. I've taken all I can today, though I feel the chain pull at my feet. I live inside a UFO, I circle planets on my own. I push some buttons, but they don't mean anything. Time, she races at a crazy speed. She cuts me as she kisses me. She leaves her trademark: a stark uncertainty. And there's stones, stones. They form into walls until I can't see you at all. Don't tell me something you don't know. I'll figure it out on my own.

You were to take a home, then we were to be wed. Now I am taken by the night.

about

Blending new wave pattern looping with old school shoegaze, "The moment you realize you are incapable of realizing" takes the listener on a dynamic, emotional ride that questions the meaning of life, liberty, and happiness, through language that shifts between abstract and direct.

about

Ryan Keller Mobile, Alabama

In a busted UFO orbiting Luna, the moon of Earth, an alien sequentially presses buttons, conveying through dark waves his observations, metaphors, and commentaries on the world below him, which are often conflicting, critical, and apathetic, into the mind of a man, through less-than-subtly suggestive means, who toils with the suggested material, converting to media.
